A fun-loving guy with lots of hobbies

Brady already is house trained and knows sit and lie down, and goes into his crate for his dinner and settles down nicely.

He also knows how to run with a bicycle and has just started learning scootering with his foster pals Ted and Liesl.

He has shown himself eager to please and very responsive to training, including learning to keep going instead of diverting to chase cats or to examine fresh road kill.

He's a great candidate if you have ever wanted to get into dog scootering, obedience, or if you want a running buddy.

Sometimes a young guy just needs to know what the boundaries are....

I
Brady has been known to try to slip out of the house for his own private adventures, but it is pretty easy to let him know what is and what is not acceptable.

He tried to slip out the door on me a couple of times and when he got squashed between my knee and the door, and admonished, he gave it up. He has eyed an open door a few times as an opportunity, but just telling him that it's off-limits has been enough.

As for fenceline issues, he was knocking planks out of the privacy fence at his old foster home, but a 4 ft chainlink fence with hotwire around the top has contained him well.

He probably needs a house where, if there are children, they are big enough and suspicious enough to keep a 50 lb dog from sneaking or pushing past them at the door.

Brady is DEFINITELY NOT cat safe.

More pictures and more about me

I am a lot of fun, and very loving, but I can be serious, too. I am serious about love, serious about kibble, and serious about hunting critters.

In the past my love for chasing all things furry has gotten me in trouble, but I have found that I have no desire to tangle with a hotwired fence, even if it's only 4 ft tall.
